Update – March 2012

Dear friends

I am very pleased to say that we have made it back to Northumberland safely after a very eventful few months in Nepal.

Mountain views from Kakane.

Mountain views from Kakane.

We left Thailand just before Christmas and traveled to ‘the roof of the world’ to visit family and see first hand the mighty Himalayas. This was a time of retreat for us and I was able to focus on my own yoga practice as well as enjoying some structured yoga retreats. The final week of our adventure took us to Northern India where we were extremely fortunate to catch a rare glimpse of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

We have had a fabulous time away but we are excited to be home feeling refreshed and inspired and ready to get back to business! I won’t be resuming any weekly yoga classes until after the Easter holidays, but please consider coming along to my one day yoga workshop on Sunday March 25th. Lunch and afternoon tea are included and it would be lovely to see many of you there – suitable for all levels, even complete beginners. Please read on for more details.

Meanwhile I am also resuming my massage practice on March 20th and still have a few appointments left for the end of this month. Whether you have a niggling ache, a full-blown injury or just a need to unwind and destress then please do get in touch and find out how I might be able to help you.

Special Offer on Massage Treatments until 31 March.

All 90 minute massage treatments are £50 until the end of March (rising to £60 in April).
45 minute appointments are also available for £30.

“Springing Forward” – adjusting your body clock to British Summer Time
The first in a series of monthly yoga workshops following the general theme of “Work Hard / Rest Deeply”. The morning sessions are an extended practice of active yoga postures and pranayama (breathing techniques). You will feel like you have been working hard but the practice is safe and suitable for all levels and abilities. The afternoon sessions are a deeply relaxing and nurturing Restorative Yoga practice. A simple lunch is provided (soup and bread) and we will end the day with a cup of tea and slice of home made cake.

The workshops are £15 per session or £27 for the whole day. All workshops must be pre-booked.
