A day of active and restorative Yoga practice to stretch the body, focus the mind and renew the spirit.

The theme for this pair of complementary workshops is “Positive Resolve”. With the onset of Spring and a change to British Summer Time I invite you to reflect on your personal mission statement and “Spring Forward” with a renewed commitment to your immediate and longer-term goals. You will also enjoy the restorative practices in both sessions devised to prepare you for the shift in rhythm caused by the loss of an hour on Saturday night!
Half day and full day options available. If you will be staying all day please bring a packed lunch (hot and cold drinks, fruit and cake provided). You will be provided with a reflective exercise relevant to the days’ practice to work on in the lunch break and/or can enjoy a local walk from the doorstep. It is also possible to stay in our Airbnb accommodation on Saturday evening.
Both workshops are suitable for participants of all levels of experience and ability.
Morning Workshop – 9.30-11.30am (2 hours) – £10 FULLY BOOKED
Our morning practice will include active and restorative practice. The format will be similar to the usual Saturday morning class but additional time is allowed for this workshop so as to experience a longer relaxation and pranayama (breathing practices).
Afternoon Workshop – 1.00-4.00pm (3 hours) – £20 (includes tea and cake) FULLY BOOKED
The afternoon workshop is restorative practice only – a deeply restful way of experiencing yoga using props. We will practice a series of poses – all completely supported with bolsters, blocks and blankets – soothing our muscles and moving the spine in all directions – back bend, forward bend, inversion, twist and a neutral relaxation pose.
At the end of the afternoon workshop we will gather together for some tea and cake to share experiences and ensure we are fully grounded before returning home.

Residential (Easter Yoga Retreat)
