Winter Retreat 2016

Friday 16 – Sunday 18 December 2016

Winter is traditionally a time of turning inwards, sharing stories by the fire and resting up a little after the hard work of the summer months. The incongruity between winter’s restful, introspective nature and the frenetic build up to our modern-day Christmas celebrations can leave us depleted in energy and even feeling stressed and anxious.

As we approach the turning point at the end of this year, the darkest night and shortest day, please join us for some or all of our Winter Retreat. Allow yourself a moment of stillness and be nourished by the nature of Winter.

Share the benefits by participating in one or both of our “Gift of Massage” workshops. In these workshops you will receive a luxurious head or foot massage and learn to give one yourself. The price of the workshop also includes some physical take-away items including massage oil and gift cards so you can wrap this up for your friends and loved ones and offer them your skills for Christmas.

Our afternoon Restorative practices are an opportunity for profound rest. Saturday and Sunday’s workshops will be slightly different, but both offering you a balanced sequence of restorative poses to replenish your energy, balance your nervous system and boost your immune system.

All workshops can be booked individually or you can attend the whole weekend. Each workshop will be unique but connected. Early booking is recommended to guarantee your space.
