Restorative Yoga is a restful way of practising, using props. Introductory workshops focus on how to recognise stress and its effects on the physical body. You will learn how to harness the power of your body’s innate relaxation response for the purpose of deep rest and healing.
We will practice a simple sequence of supported poses, soothing our muscles and moving the spine in all directions – back bend, forward bend, inversion, twist and a neutral relaxation pose. At the end of the workshop we gather together for some tea and cake to share experiences and ensure we are fully grounded before returning homeMake a weekend of it by booking a Restorative Yoga Retreat.
