Yoga Courses at A Space to Be

Lucy’s yoga method prioritises breathing, and movements which are coordinated with the breath.

Classes begin with a short period of rest, feeling into the body and becoming aware of the natural breath. A typical class will then include flowing sequences, some restorative poses and relaxation, finishing with breathing practices and/or meditation. Termly courses tend to follow a philosophical theme.

Guests are welcome to join individual sessions, but this must be booked in advance.

Individual classes are £10.
Termly courses are £45 for six weeks.
A minimum commitment of four out of the six weeks (£30) is require to join the course.

Lucy also runs a drop-in yoga class at Shilbottle Community Hall.

Thursday 9.30 – 11 am & 11.30am-1pm: 9, 16, 23 & 30 Jan. 6 & 13 Feb.
Friday 9.30 – 11 am (Restorative): 10, 17, 24 & 31 Jan. 7 & 14 Feb.
Saturday 9.30 – 11 am: 11, 18 & 25 Jan. 1, 8 & 15 Feb.
Sunday 9.30 – 11 am: 12, 19 & 26 Jan. 2, 9 & 16 Feb.

Meditation

Yoga for Fertility, Pregnancy, Postnatal Recovery, Womens Health

  • Postnatal and Baby Yoga – Wednesday 11.15am-12.30
  • Mother Nurture Yoga (suitable for pregnancy) – Sunday 11.15am-12.30
