A practice of active and restorative asana and breathing techniques for ‘remembering’ ourselves and the resources which nourish us.
We will consider the idea of nourishment at each layer of our being – body, breath, mind, heart and soul. This model of five layers of being is found in the Taitirriya Upanisad and is most commonly referred to as the panca kośa (five bodies).
To get the most from this online class you will need a yoga mat and the following additional props:
3 blankets (any size/shape)
1 cushion (square if possible)
The practice can be done seated or standing and will include a long relaxation. All are welcome. Please contact me in advance if you have any particular issues or queries.
