Two Night Summer Yoga Retreat
Your teacher, Lucy Maresh, believes that yoga is a state of being. She is most at home in the breath-based and sutra-informed practice of TKV Desikachar, but her practice has also been shaped hugely by the wild landscapes of Northumberland, restorative yoga, being a mother, many hours of vipassana meditation and a healthy respect for her own inner compass. She hopes to help you find your own, and guide you home to your felt sense of what’s right and true for you.
This package includes morning and evening yoga classes tailored especially for you, delicious vegetarian meals (half board) and exclusive use of our guest suite. We can accommodate up to three people in individual rooms. Guests staying on one of our retreat packages can also receive 20% discount on any massage treatment.
- Solo – from £340 (and option to stay a third night free)
- Duo – from £195 per person
- Trio – £165 per person

Please note we do not take firm bookings more than six months into the future but you can contact us if you would like to pencil in a special date. To secure your booking we will ask you to pay a non-refundable deposit of £160. We will then contact you to confirm the length of your stay and number of guests.

All three rooms are welcoming and exceptionally clean and well maintained. The beds are so comfortable made up with quality linen and each bed had little gifts of shampoo, soap and bath bubbles oh and gorgeous chocolates! If you want somewhere comfortable in a peaceful location then this is for you.Elaine
A wonderful find. I stayed here as part of a residential yoga retreat. Would highly recommend it. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Very friendly hosts. And the Yoga was wonderful. What a lovely, quiet and restful time I had staying with Lucy and Henry! The place is really special and I enjoyed the great views from my room, the good night’s sleep and perfect breakfast. It was wonderful to just go down the stairs and practice yoga. The area is amazing for walking and enjoying the coast. Shilbottle is also easy accessible by public transport from Newcastle and a good base to explore Northumberland by bus. Lucy and Henry also recommended places to visit.
