A yoga practice for the Autumn Equinox including active and restorative practice and the philosophical theme of abhyāsa vairāgya, action and reflection or ‘doing’ and ‘being’. Monthly online yoga workshops with Lucy are open to all on an honesty box basis. Each session explores a philosophical theme and practices are chosen to be relaxing and accessible - suitable for curious beginners and experienced practitioners alike.

Lucy’s yoga method prioritises breathing, and movements which are coordinated with the breath. Classes begin with a short period of rest, feeling into the body and becoming aware of the natural breath. A typical class will then include flowing sequences, some restorative poses and relaxation, finishing with breathing practices and/or meditation. While physical distancing is required to prevent the spread of COVID-19 we are unable to hold yoga courses here at A Space to Be. Lucy is offering a courses online and at Shilbottle Community Hall instead and a monthly email with some online resources.
