An opportunity to immerse yourself in a complete practice of active and restorative asana (postures), pranayama (breathing) and meditation. Each yoga day will be structured around a philosophical theme and is aimed at experienced practitioners and teachers, or curious beginners! Accommodation is available for anyone that would like to travel from further afield.
Lucy teaches yoga in the spirit of ‘the viniyoga of yoga’, an approach to the specific application of yoga for individuals developed by TKV Desikachar. She brings to this a particular interest in restorative yoga (as developed from BKS Iyengar by Judith Hanson Lasater) and in yoga for women.

This year we will be celebrating each seasonal turning point in the year with an online yoga class and an outdoor labyrinth walk. You can attend any or all of the programme - travelling with us through the whole of the year, or just dipping in for one or two events.
In restorative yoga practice we use props to support the body in positions of comfort and ease, to facilitate stillness. After even just a few minutes of this supported stillness it is possible to feel a deep sense of relief.
