1:1 Yoga Registration Form

Thank you for your interest in individual yoga lessons. The purpose of this form is to make sure I have the correct contact information for you, and for you to let me know anything that will help me tailor the classes most appropriately.

I usually provide a paper form at the first session, but to reduce contact during the corona virus pandemic I have created this online version. The form is completely confidential and arrives in my email inbox.

Privacy

I hold personal information in accordance with GDPR regulations and for insurance purposes. Data will be kept securely and destroyed when no longer required.

Cancelling and Rearranging

Advance payment is required to confirm your session.

You can cancel your appointment and receive a full refund up to 48 hours in advance. This does not apply to package bookings. However, package lessons can be rearranged or postponed (within the validity of the package).

If you would like to rearrange your appointment, please give as much notice as possible so that I can fill your slot. The latest you may rearrange your appointment is by 9am on the morning of your appointment. This means that if you, or anyone in your household, wakes up with virus symptoms you can postpone with no charge.

If you cancel after 9am, or fail to attend your appointment, you will be charged the full amount.

Approach

The purpose of individual yoga tuition is to support you in developing, maintaining (or re-kindling) a regular home practice. We will agree a specific purpose or goal for your practice and revisit this every 3 sessions.

How To Prepare

You will need to have your own mat or rug to practice on. Additional yoga props can usually be created from ordinary everyday household items. You may wish to choose a blanket and a cushion to be part of your yoga kit, and a place where you will do your practice at home.

Home Practice

You will get the most from these sessions by being willing to try the techniques at home on your own. Think of it like learning to cook rather than eating out. You will soon find you can nourish yourself on a daily basis with your home practice. Your 1:1 lessons are to help refine and develop that practice.
