Lucy’s yoga method prioritises breathing, and movements which are coordinated with the breath. Classes begin with a short period of rest, feeling into the body and becoming aware of the natural breath. A typical class will then include flowing sequences, some restorative poses and relaxation, finishing with breathing practices and/or meditation. While physical distancing is required to prevent the spread of COVID-19 we are unable to hold yoga courses here at A Space to Be. Lucy is offering a courses online and at Shilbottle Community Hall instead and a monthly email with some online resources.
An opportunity to immerse yourself in a complete practice of active and restorative asana (postures), pranayama (breathing) and meditation. Each yoga day will be structured around a philosophical theme and is aimed at experienced practitioners and teachers. Accommodation is available for anyone that would like to travel from further afield.
