What a lovely, quiet and restful week I had staying with Lucy and Henry! The place is really special and I enjoyed the great views from my room, the good night’s sleep and perfect breakfast. They made sure I wouldn’t miss a thing! It was wonderful to just go down the stairs and practice yoga, either on my own or joining Lucy’s classes. The area is amazing for walking and enjoying the coast. Shilbottle is also easy accessible by public transport from Newcastle and a good base to explore Northumberland by bus. Lucy and Henry also recommended places to visit. I’d love to come back soon…

Since the workshop I’ve made a real effort to let go of the need to keep on ‘rushing around’ and being ‘efficient’ during my period.

I’m resting into my feminine time now, and I’m finding that I feel SO peaceful in the lead up to and during my period, and have had ZERO pain!

A wonderful find. I stayed here as part of a residential yoga retreat. Would highly recommend it. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Very friendly hosts. And the Yoga was wonderful. Lucy is clearly extremely experienced and knowledgeable and takes time to understand each individuals needs. I came away feeling relaxed and restored. Will definitely be back.

I cannot recommend Lucy’s pregnancy and postnatal yoga classes enough. As a first time Mum they were an amazing place to go and learn about all the changes, physically and emotionally, that were happening to me. Learning to relax and using her yoga nidras prepared me for labour and enabled me to deliver at a midwife led unit with no pain relief. It was also a great place to make friends with other Mums to be.
