Have you ever considered your own internal weather? I suspect there have been days you felt your disposition was sunny and bright, and other days you have been heavy with dark clouds and ready to explode with thunder and lightning - I am sure that can't be just me! I woke up this morning to a light dusting of snow here in Shilbottle. It was a fantastic reminder of our famously unpredictable weather - a little flurry of Winter in the middle of an otherwise blossoming Spring.
Lucy teaches yoga in the spirit of ‘the viniyoga of yoga’, an approach to the specific application of yoga for individuals developed by TKV Desikachar. She brings to this a particular interest in restorative yoga (as developed from BKS Iyengar by Judith Hanson Lasater) and in yoga for women. Massage treatments using warm oil take place on our extremely comfortable therapy couch which is suitable for clients of all sizes and shapes. Your treatment can include the whole body, or be focused on specific areas.
Lucy has been running yoga groups for pregnant women and babies here in North Northumberland since 2009. These classes include prenatal yoga, birth preparation, postnatal yoga, baby yoga and massage, relaxation and meditation for mothers and babies and opportunities for friendship and connection.
Our next Sunday night zoom is Sunday 18 April, 7.30-9.00pm - “Blossoming Where We Are” - open to all on an honesty box basis. Shortly before the full moon fire festival of Bealtaine, at a time of abundant blossom and the beginnings of Summer we will explore 'blossoming' within ourselves and in our own individual ways.
