Work is now well underway on our extension and, as many of you already know, we have taken some time off this summer so we can enjoy our campervan and leave the builders to get on with some of the messy stuff! Although it is an extension, the new rooms are being built on the same footprint as our old coal sheds so in fact the building is not getting a large amount bigger, there will just be more usable space - and we've even been able to recycle the bricks!
We are not taking residential bookings this autumn as we are having some building work done. Bookings will re-open via Airbnb in early 2020. We do however have a programme of yoga classes and workshops running for the autumn, both here and at our lovely local community hall.
New weekly community yoga class starting Thursday 19 September. 5.15-6.15pm £5 Drop-in / £25 course of six classes paid by half term Join Lucy for yoga, relaxation and meditation in the lovely Shilbottle Community Hall. A warm welcome awaits for all ages and abilities.
Wednesday - Sunday mornings 9.30-11am. Termly courses tend to follow a philosophical theme. Guests are welcome to join individual sessions, but this must be booked in advance. All classes are £10, or £7.50 when booked as a block of four or more.
Saturday 31 August, 10am - 1pm, Shilbottle Community Hall, £25 This extended morning practice will include active and restorative asana (postures), pranayama (breathing practices), yoga nidra (guided relaxation) and meditation.
Saturday 31 August, 2-5pm, Shilbottle Community Hall, £25. In restorative yoga practice we use props to support the body in positions of comfort and ease, to facilitate stillness. After even just a few minutes of this supported stillness it is possible to feel a deep sense of relief.
