We are recently returned from northern Thailand where we enjoyed an adventurous family holiday in the mountainous province of Mae Hong Son on the hunt for sunflowers, hot springs, and elephants of course. We also revisited some of our old haunts in Chiang Mai, and Lucy took a course in Chi Nei Tsang (abdominal massage). We all enjoyed a change of scene and the perspective that travel always provides.
In our absense, work has begun to demolish the coal sheds in our back garden and make way for a new kitchen and dining room. Although we won’t be undertaking this job entirely on our own, we anticipate yet another year of DIY chaos. We have in our minds the tantalising idea that maybe, just maybe, this house is nearly ‘finished’!
It’s business as usual for the time being. Yoga classes begin next week and we have plenty of availability for retreats via our Airbnb page – it’s really the best time of year to visit as we get the most extraordinary sunrises throughout the winter.
Whether you are nearby or far away, we wish you the very best start to 2019 and send our love from our home to yours.
Warm wishes and Happy New Year!
Lucy, Henry, Rowan and Mae

Snapshot – Thai Massage
Thai massage has a reputation for being hard or painful but it really doesn’t have to be. Lucy has been studying thai massage and thai abdominal massage in the UK and in Thailand for over ten years now and works sensitively to give the pressure you need and apply stretches that are beneficial for your body.
